Projects

I currently run the following projects:

Visually Impaired People at University

I set up and am the editor of the website www.vipatuni.com. That’s VIP@University, where VIP stands for ‘Visually Impaired Person’. I have a visual impairment myself, and after successfully completing an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in physics, I am keen to help other VI students access educational material and make the most of their time at university. The goal of the website is to share the experiences of visually impaired students and inspire young VIPs to take up university studies. I am always looking for new guests to appear as writers on the website. If you are interested, please contact me on vipatuni@gmail.com.

University InSight Podcast

To complement my work with the website www.vipatuni.com, I recently started a podcast called University InSight, where I interview visually impaired people about their experiences of studying at university. New episodes each month.

Improving the accessibility of scientific conferences for visually impaired people

I edit and maintain the following Google Document aimed at conference organisers who wish to make their conferences accessible to visually impaired people. Please get in touch if you have questions or wish to contribute to the document.
